WrightLife life insurance

Life insurance with a health history.

A diagnosis or a past decline does not mean every door is closed. We can help you explore available options without treating your health history as the whole story.

Your inquiry stays with WrightLife. No lead resale. No purchase obligation.

Make the comparison count

Different situations call for different questions.

Cancer, past or recent

The type of cancer, treatment, time since diagnosis, and current status can affect options. Some eligible applicants may need to compare guaranteed-issue coverage.

Living with HIV

Some insurers consider applicants living with HIV. Treatment history, current health, and product rules matter. A decline from one insurer does not establish every insurer's decision.

Diabetes or heart conditions

Insurers may consider treatment, how well a condition is managed, complications, and other health factors. Do not assume that one diagnosis tells the entire underwriting story.

Illustrative scenario

An example of what we would compare

Illustrative scenario, not a customer result: a person in their 70s with a recent cancer diagnosis wants help with final expenses. The comparison might focus on eligible guaranteed-issue products, affordable benefit amounts, and what the family would receive during and after any graded-benefit period. Approval and availability cannot be established from this example.

Start with the reason for the last decline

The insurer, product, requested amount, and timing of an application can all matter. During a private follow-up, we can discuss the information relevant to possible alternatives. Please do not send diagnoses or medical records by ordinary email. We can discuss an appropriate channel if further information is needed.

Know the difference between the options

A no-exam application may still ask health questions. Simplified issue usually uses a shorter health review. Guaranteed issue removes health underwriting for eligible applicants but can have age restrictions, smaller limits, and graded benefits.

Keep your current protection while comparing

Do not cancel an existing policy because another option sounds promising. Confirm any new policy's approval, effective date, benefit limits, and replacement implications first.

Common questions

A few answers before you reach out.

Should I email medical details?

No. Start with general coverage questions by phone or email. Do not send medical records or detailed health information by ordinary email; we can discuss an appropriate channel if needed.

Does guaranteed issue mean full coverage starts immediately?

Not necessarily. A policy can accept eligible applicants without health questions yet limit natural-cause death benefits during an initial period.

Can WrightLife guarantee approval?

We cannot guarantee a specific insurer's approval, rate, or immediate full benefit. We can help eligible applicants explore guaranteed-issue and other available options and explain their conditions.
